A lot can happen sometimes when one is on vacation!
Last week, as already chronicled on the One Student at a Time blog, Bill Robinson, the president of Whitworth University, announced that this academic year would be his last in that post.
In addition, it was a week for new beginnings. Dr. Roy Heynderickx, who became the president of Saint Martin’s University in January, was formally inaugurated last Friday, as reported in the Olympian.
Over at Gonzaga University interim President Thayne McCulloh, who assumed that post in July, started a blog. McCulloh plans to focus his blog posts on his reflections on Gonzaga, its mission, its people, and issues affecting higher education.
That sounds to us like a good topic for a blog!
