
Retired, First Interstate Bank
Bangert retired as chairman of the board of First Interstate Bank of Washington in 1985 after a successful career in banking. Previously, he served as president, chief executive officer, and chairman of Pacific National Bank of Washington. Bangert earned a B.S. at Wharton School of Finance and Commerce (University of Pennsylvania) and his master's at Pacific Coast Banking School. He also received an honorary doctor of laws from Gonzaga University. Bangert is a founding member of ICW and serves as an emeritus member.
