Gross has served as vice president of Airplane Programs Finance for Boeing Commercial Airplanes since August 2003. Previously, Gross served as general manager of Finance for Army Services, a new unit of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, and prior to that, he was director of Business Management for Boeing Rotorcraft. Gross began his career at Boeing in 1986 through the College Graduate Career Advancement Program, and held various management positions in the organization until being named Director of Business Operations in 1996.

Gross earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and received his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
