President, Seattle University

Father Sundborg began serving as Seattle University's 21st president in 1997. He entered the Jesuit novitiate in Sheridan, Oregon in 1961 and was ordained 13 years later. He taught theology and served as rector at Seattle University until 1990 before becoming provincial of the Oregon Province. Sundborg completed his doctoral studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
